VW : “DNA” [00:30]# Here are three animated spots that explain the ideas behind VW design. One shows the evolution of the designs of VW cars. It calls the engineers responsible for the designs, “smart. Smart but kooky,” because they can never leave good enough alone. They constantly change, polish and refine the designs, though they already seem to be finished. Another one gives an answer to the question, “Why are VW cars so easy to drive?” It’s because in Europe, where VW cars come from, they have narrow streets, high speeds and a lot of sheep. The cars must be ergonomically designed so as not to distract the driver from the hazards caused by this combination. The last spot claims that VW offers tight frames and tight handling to keep drivers less uptight.
