VW Polo’s “Small but tough” tagline has inspired creatives to come up with lots of amusing (and award-winning) campaigns. Now, the new VW Fox appears on the scene sporting the claim “Short but fun.” And how do German creatives react to this? By producing a number of amusingly crude animated spots purporting to be 30-second versions of popular movie blockbusters. We get the mini-edition of “Pulp Fiction” – with just about all the profanities in place – and a pleasantly abridged “Titanic,” which – in almost cruel fashion – manages to summarize the original film in less than half a minute.
