In a series of vignettes, Walgreens presents
the benefits of its prescription
drugs refill service using the tagline “If
only everything refilled itself automatically.”
A girl at a children’s birthday
party bursts a balloon by holding a fork
to it, though subsequently seems a little
bewildered to see the balloon re-inflate
again every time it is pricked. Similarly,
an office worker suffering from a cold is
unable to believe his eyes when, after
pulling what he believes to be the final
Kleenex from the box, a fresh one keeps
popping up in its place. Incredulously,
he pulls one after the other out of the
“miracle box,” finally ending up in a
mound of white tissues.
