Woven City

[2.20.001]

More Info

Toyota wants to build the city of the future. They have revealed plans to
build this “city” on a 175-acre cite site at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan.
Woven City – what it’s called – will be a fully connected ecosystem
powered by hydrogen fuel cells. This should be a full-time home for
researchers who will be testing and developing tech like autonomy,
robotics, personal mobility, smart homes, and AI by making use of a
real-world environment. Fascinating!

Masashi Kawamura: “The scale and boldness of a brand creating a whole
city is super fascinating. I was deeply jealous about the project when it
came out. The presentation was beautifully crafted too.”
