Wrangler “59 Club” & “DJ” #
Unlike the spots for Levi’s, the Wrangler campaign chooses an approach that mirrors the diverse sides of present-day youth culture. To a rock track, and with shades of Kenneth Anger’s cult classic “Scorpio Rising,” “59 Club” features grainy black-and-white images of a motorcycle club apparently founded by a priest. “DJ,” on the other hand, charts the “black-pack” rap scene. Payoff: Be more than just a number.
