Ze Frank (Hosea Jan Frank), an American artist, humorist and composer, wrote the song “Chillout” and performed it with the help of
his community for a woman who provided him with emotional and psychological support. Inspired by her letter, he penned some lyrics and the music to go with them. He then asked his community to sing the song and send him the recordings in order to turn the whole thing into a choir-like experience. The finished version of the song can be heard here.
